Arkoma and Talihina are now the county scoring and defensive leaders after week 8.
Arkoma, which lost its first game Friday to Webbers Falls (84-38), leads the county schools by averaging 47.2 points per game while Talihina is second, averaging 29.2 points per game.
On defense, Talihina leads the county by allowing only 16.0 points per game while Spiro is second at 22.3.
All the county schools aside from Bokoshe and Heavener have played eight games. Those two schools have played seven.
