ARKOMA–Phillip Leon Haley, 62, of Arkoma, passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011 in Albuquerque, N.M. He was born in Corning, Ark. on July 15, 1949 to Larry Red and Edna Murriel (Crockett) Haley and was a race car mechanic.
Services are Thursday at 2 p.m. at Evans Chapel of Memories in Pocola with Rev. Michael Dugan and Gary Daws Jr. officiating. Interment will be at Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Noralee Haley of the home; his parents, Larry and Murriel Haley of Arkoma; brother, Dean Haley of Gore; sisters, Teena Carney of Gore and Pamela Lilyquist of Sapulpa; children, Charley and Lori Haley, Connie Simmons of Pocola and Casey Haley of Arkoma; five grandchildren, Heather Haley, Sheyenne Simmons, Kacee Lynn Haley, James Tyler Goodman and Taylor Ray Goodman; and great grandson, Jaxson Andrew Ladd.
Pallbearers are Randy Russell, Jerry Lee Vaughn, Scott Glover, Kyle Ledford, David Fowler and Wendall Vaughn. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Dugan, Jeremy Vaughn and Jim Bandy.
