The regular season wrapped up for county schools Friday night and only two county teams, Arkoma and Heavener, made the playoffs.
Arkoma had already clinched second place in C-4 and closed out the regular season with a 60-12 win at Claremore Christian to improve to 9-1 overall while Heavener edged Pocola, 21-12, (See STORY) to claim fourth place in 2A-6.
Arkoma will host Covington-Douglas while Heavener will visit Stroud next week.
Muldrow came from behind twice to edge Poteau, 22-14. The Pirates used a 93-yard touchdown pass to Blake Roley and a long scoring run by Michael Reynolds to take the lead, only to see the Bulldogs come from behind.
Poteau was hurt by turnovers and finished up at 4-6.
Spiro needed a win and some help to reach the playoffs. The Bulldogs came up a little short at Stigler, falling 34-27 to the Panthers. Spiro closes with a 4-6 record while Stigler improves to 9-1 and will host Checotah in the first round of the playoffs.
Talihina fell behind early to Vian and lost its finale, 55-6, to the fourth-ranked Wolverines. The Tigers finish at 5-5 while undefeated Vian hosts Meeker next week.
Panama closed out its season with a 60-0 loss to NOAH in a non-district game to drop to 1-9 on the season.
Bokoshe closed its season with a 1-8 record after falling to Maud, 52-0.
