“I am pleased to serve as chairman for LeFlore County Honor Flights,” Lockhart said. “LeFlore County has many veterans and I am very delighted to serve in this capacity.”
The objective of the Honor Flights program is to fly veterans to the nation’s capitol in Washington D.C. This mission is at no cost to the veteran. They are now accepting applications from Korean veterans and hope to start flying them in the fall or early spring.
“I am proud to announce that state Representative James Lockhart has agreed to be the LeFlore County Chairman for Oklahoma Honor Flights.” said Rep. Eric Proctor (D-Tulsa). “From day one in the House of Representatives James expressed a passion for our veterans and fought for their rights. James has proved that he has a heart for veterans and I know that he will do an amazing job as the Honor Flight Chairman for LeFlore County.”
Proctor is the Eastern Oklahoma Chairman for Oklahoma Honor Flights.
