CHOCTAW–Jimmy Dean Goldsborough, 76, of Choctaw, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2011 at his home. The son of Lester and Dorothy Goldsborough, he was born August 14, 1935 in Panola. He retired from Dayton Tire Company, where he worked as a boiler repairman for many years.
Graveside funeral and burial is Friday at 1 p.m. at Dog Creek Cemetery near Shady Point under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Shauna Goldsborough.
He is survived by three sons, Bill Lasater, Mark Lasater, and Geary Lasater; one brother, Doug Goldsborough; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his lifelong best friend, Steve Martindale; and neighbors, Rick Cooper, and Frank and Jean Mann.
