KEOTA–Brenda Kay Whitecotton Conway, 62, of Keota, passed away, Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011 in Fort Smith. She was born Nov. 2, 1949 in Bokoshe to Jake and Lawanda Whitecotton.
Services are Friday at 11 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Bokoshe with Rev. Lynn Bullard officiating. Interment will be at the Milton Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Thomas Joseph, Rudy Ruffus, Ronnie, Gary Don, Johnny Carl and Andy Lee; and a sister, Linda Gay McKeown.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Sr. of the home; a son Gerald Conway Jr. and wife Teresa of Bokoshe; daughters Angie Rosa and husband Gabe of Bokoshe, and Julie Conway and Thomas Truax of Keota; grandchildren, Cash and Caden Waggoner, Calee Conway, Evan and Shane Rosa, Kaylee Truax; sisters, Mona and Hershel Woodside of Spiro, Mary Collins and Randy of Bokoshe; brothers, Jim Whitecotton, Randy Rue and Mary Whitecotton of Bokoshe, Tim Whitecotton of Lexington and David Whitecotton of Joplin.
Pallbearers are her nephews, Aaron Woodside, Travis Whitecotton, Randy Collins Jr., Jon Howell, Tyler Whitecotton and Randy Collins, Sr.
The family will be at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. to visit with relatives and friends.
