BOKOSHE–For the second month in a row the Bokoshe Community Fellowship Breakfast has the opportunity to introduce a new Pastor.
This month it is Travis Deere, who comes from Greenwood to Pastor the Youth of Bokoshe at 1st Assembly of God. Deere has an Associates Degree in Biblical Studies from the Southwestern Assemblies of God University at Waxachie, Texas.
He also works at Baldor and has been married to his wife Marcie for five years. She has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
Both Travis and Marcie have a strong desire to minister to the youth and hope to make a difference in Bokoshe.
The breakfast is Saturday at 8 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Bokoshe United Methodist Church. The fellowship breakfast set a new attendance record of 70 last month and look to do well this month.
Also, on March 17 Bokoshe Pride will sponsor a “We Love Bokoshe” Community Clean- up, bring gloves, trash bags, and enthusiasm to City Park at 9:30 a.m.
