SPIRO–Peggy Ann Plummer, 63, of Spiro passed away Jan. 1, 2012 in Poteau. She was born Aug. 21, 1948 in Murray Spur to Aubury Vernon and Dorothey Jean (Kurkendoll) Self.
Funeral services are Thursday at 10 a.m. at Mallory Martin Chapel in Spiro with Rev. Eddie Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow at Spiro City Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro.
She is survived by three daughters Tammey Jones and husband Lawrence of Spiro, Pamela Dunn and husband Kenneth of Spiro and Betty Herrera and husband Jose of Fort Smith; a son, Jackie Plummer and wife Tammy of Poteau; sister, Melinda Elam and husband Lewis of Poteau and half sister, Shirley Fisher and husband Bradley of Spiro; brothers Manley Self and wife Tealie of Wister, Billy Self and wife Martha of Cameron and half brother James Lindsey of Branson; her mother, Dorothy Self of Spiro; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; her husband Jackie Plummer; and one son Joseph.
Pallbearers are Chris Jones, Richard Eagan, Kenneth Dunn, Jackie Plummer, Lewis Morales, Terry Self and Manley Self.
