Talihina swept past Pocola while Panama took two from Arkoma in county basketball action Tuesday night.
Talihina’s girls upped their record to 8-3 with a 49-35 win while the boys held off the Indians in overtime, 51-49. Talihina’s girls jumped in front 15-4 at the end of the first quarter and Chelsea Baggs led the Lady Tigers with 24 points.
Panama’s boys downed Arkoma, 47-38, while the LadyBacks scored a minor upset with a 49-34 win over Arkoma’s girls, dropping the Lady Mustangs to 9-3 overall.
Heavener’s boys also edged Wilburton, 55-51. No score was reported for the girls.
Also, Muldrow swept Spiro in a pair of games. Muldrow’s girls downed Spiro, 58-50, while the boys won, 68-63, in NOAA conference play.
