SPIRO–Frank Lee Nunley, 71, Spiro, passed away Feb. 7, 2012, in Cancun, Mexico. He was born Nov. 4, 1940, at Panama to William and Agnes (Bice) Nunley, was a retired barber, a 33rd Degree Mason and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Service are Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Victory Worship Center in Spiro with Rev. Tim Painter and Rev. Mike Bunch officiating. Interment will follow service at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Michael Sevier; daughter Sherry Welker; and a brother, Robert Nunley.
He is survived by his wife Barbara of the home; sons Frank Lee Nunley II and wife Mary Jo, of Las Animas, Co., Norman Roy Nunley and wife Mary, of Spiro, and Brian Sevier of Spiro; sisters Mary Howerton and husband Bud of Spiro, and Doris Marshall of Panama; 21 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chris McGee, Sam McGee, Bobby Nunley, Taylor Sevier, Austin Sevier, Troy Howerton, Kevin Howerton and Lee Pruitt. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ed Butler, Ray Norman and Ryan Plemmons.
