CAMERON—Cameron broke up a tie game by batting around in the bottom of the third inning to take a 9-1 win over Heavener in a high school baseball game here Monday.
With the score tied at 1, Cameron scored five runs in the bottom of the third and added three more in the fourth to break away and win.
Heavener took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first and the Yellow Jackets tied the score in the bottom half of the inning.
Kody McAlpin scored three runs for Cameron. Austin Standridge was the winning pitcher for the Jackets and scored an additional two runs.
