SPIRO–James Bradberry, 92, of Spiro passed away March 14, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was born Jan. 9, 1920 in Gans to Henry and Blanch (Adams) Bradberry, was a member of the Murrow Masonic Lodge #49 and a veteran of World War II.
Funeral services are Saturday at 10 a.m. at Mallory Martin Chapel of Spiro with Reverend Carl Cheshire officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy, of the home; two daughters, Shirley Crowson and Brenda Thompson, both of Spiro; two grandchildren Greg Crowson and wife Christy of Spiro, and Tammy Jackson and husband Malcolm of Greenwood; four great-grandchildren Dalton Crowson, Allie Crowson, Tyler Jackson and Jayden Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Melva Merchant; sister; Hazel McCormick; and two brothers; Raymond and Marvin Brad berry.
Pallbearers are Greg Crowson, Dalton Crowson, Ron Homer, Malcolm Jackson, Carroll Wayne Rogers and Jimmy John Howard.
