BOKOSHE–Ronnie Hollie, 68, of Bokoshe, passed away March 19, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was born Oct. 18, 1943 in Henry, Ok. To Charles Cyril and Gladys Bernice (Cheshier) Hollie, was a veteran, mechanic, chicken farmer, cattleman and member of Bokoshe Church of Christ.
Services are Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Bokoshe Church of Christ with Joe Avery, Rev. Jim Loris, and Don Cherry officiating. Interment will follow in Old Bokoshe Cemetery, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Leta Jean Hollie; son Kerry Hollie and wife Mary; daughter Kathy Fout and husband Dale; grandchildren, Christina Hollie, Kerry G. Hollie II, Kailyn Hollie, Stephen DeWitt, Dakota Fout and Dyllan Fout ; one great grandchild, Addyson DeWitt; brothers Gary Hollie and wife Viola of Keota, Terry Hollie and wife Wanda of Stigler, OK; and a sister, Sue Taylor-Dunn of Poteau.
Pallbearers are Kerry Hollie II, Lary Carver, Brad Stroud, Kerry Osburn, Wayne Jetton, John Labor Jr., Charles Perdue and Wes Stroud. Honorary pallbearers are Jack Brewer and Larry Hammons.
The family will be at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. to visit with relatives and friends.
