POTEAU–Applications for the Carl Albert State College 2012-2013 Viking Ambassador Program are due April 10 by 4:30 p.m.
Applications should be turned in to Cherish Harris, Ambassador Advisor. Harris is located on the second floor of the Ollie Center in office 1206 on the CASC Poteau campus.
Current, full time CASC students with a minimum 3.0 GPA are invited to apply. In addition, applicants must be in good academic, disciplinary, and financial standing at Carl Albert.
According to Harris, Viking Ambassadors contribute directly to the recruitment of students at Carl Albert State College. They are responsible for creating a supportive, student-centered atmosphere by planning, promoting, executing and supporting events on campus.
Ambassadors also provide tours of the campus to groups and individuals interested in learning more about Carl Albert State College.
“Viking Ambassadors are the ‘cream of the crop’ students who go above and beyond to assist with campus events, campus tours, and mentoring younger students,” Harris said.
A detailed explanation of qualifications, responsibilities, benefits, and the selection process are outlined on the application form. Students interested in applying for the program may pick up an application from Harris, email her at [email protected], or call 918-647-1475. Applications are also available to download at www.carlalbert.edu.
