WHITESBORO—Whitesboro’s boys and girls improved to 3-0 with a pair of wins over LeFlore Thursday night.
Whitesboro’s girls coasted to a 51-14 win while the Bulldogs took care of the Savages, 61-43.
In the girls’ game, Whitesboro jumped out ahead 12-2 at the end of the first quarter and led 28-7 at halftime.
Whitesboro had 11 players score in the win, led by Taylor Bowers with 14 points. Ashalee Nunley added eight while Shania McKosky had six, Bailee McConnell and Maecie Smith each had five, Allyson Harper four, and Hope Sisemore, Breanna Gibson, Abigail Phillips and Sassy Newell each had two points. Jerica Wallace had one point.
Alison Todd led LeFlore with 10 points.
Whitesboro’s boys took control in the third quarter by outscoring the Savages, 19-6, to clinch the win.
The Bulldogs only led by nine points at halftime before the big outburst in the third quarter.
Blake Blagg-Tidwell had 16 points and Jordan Delapaz added 14 to lead Whitesboro. Colton Sisemore and C.J. Dean each had eight points while Michele Robatto had six, Hunter Tidwell five and Quintin Ludlow four.
No scores were available for LeFlore. Whitesboro plays at Kinta on Friday while LeFlore hosts Kinta on Tuesday.
