Super Bowl dispute leads to shooting
POTEAU — Shorty after the Super Bowl Sunday night, there was a shooting involving a father and his step-son. A helicopter was seen landing in the field near one of the homes, along with at least eight emergency vehicles including the sheriff and ambulance.
One man was airlifted to a Tulsa hospital after being shot three times.
LeFlore County officials said the dispute leading to the shooting was because of the Super Bowl. Alcohol was involved.
A handgun was found at the scene. The man’s wife and stepson were being held at the sheriff’s office for questioning.
