Additional thunderstorms are possible again for Monday in the LeFlore County weather forecast. We will have a mix of clouds and sun with a lot of humidity and a high of 92 degrees.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms also forecast for Monday night. A few storms may be severe. The low should be around 73 degrees.
A flash flood watch is in effect for most of eastern Oklahoma, including LeFlore County, and western Arkansas through Tuesday night. Rainfall amounts of two to three inches are expected with up to five to seven inches a possibility in some areas.
Sunrise will be at 6:36 a.m. with sunset at 8:10 p.m. The record high for Aug. 12 was 107 degrees in 1934 while the all-time low was 53 degrees in 1967. Averages for the day are 94 and 72.
The high for Sunday was 92 degrees and the low was 75 degrees.
