Talihina will get a shot at avenging its only loss of the last two years when the Golden Tigers visit Ringling in a Class A quarterfinal game on Friday.
The Tigers lost to Ringling, 26-18, in a semifinal game last year at Southeastern. Ringling, which won Class A two years ago, then lost to Hollis in the finals.
Talihina is 11-0 and ranked second in the latest ranking by the Daily Oklahoman while Ringling is fifth and 10-1, losing its opener to Christian Heritage before winning 10 straight.
The Tigers defeated Morrison in a second-round game, 62-20, while Ringling came from behind to defeat Fairview, 38-22.
The winner of Friday’s game advances to play the Cashion-Stratford winner in the Class A semifinals. The updated Class A bracket can be seen HERE.
