Mark Caldwell, President and CEO of First National Bank, has announced three promotions that were approved at the annual board of directors meeting held recently.
Ward is a graduate of Wister High School and has a bachelor’s degree in business/organizational management from John Brown University and a master’s in business administration from Webster University. He is also a graduate of Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking.
He served for seven years on the Poteau Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and was Chairman in 2013. He is a member of the Poteau Kiwanis Club.
Ward and his wife Jill live in Poteau.
“Chris loves his community. He enjoys volunteering and serving the people,” said Caldwell.
Danny Bosco and Jason Green have been promoted to Assistant Vice President.
Bosco is a native of Poteau and a graduate of Carl Albert State College. He has been in banking since 2006 and is a graduate of Oklahoma Bankers Association Consumer Lending School and the American Bankers Association Commercial Lending School.
Bosco serves on the board of directors for the Poteau Valley Humane Society and is an active member in Kiwanis and Ducks Unlimited. He and his family attend Double Branch Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon.
Green, an Eagle Scout, is a native of Poteau and is a 2000 graduate of Poteau High School. He is on the teaching faculty of Oklahoma Bankers Association and was an OBA Banking Operations School Honor Student in 2014.
Green is A+ certified. “A+ certification validates understanding of the most common hardware and software technologies in business and certifies the skills necessary to support complex IT infrastructures,” said Caldwell.
Green has been with First National Bank since 2009 as IT Manager.
