HODGEN—The Jim E. Hamilton Correctional Center announced the promotion and appointment of Chris Lee as the new deputy warden.
Lee began his career with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections in June of 1994-1996 as a Correctional Officer at OSP and JLCC. In 1996-1999 he served as a Correctional Case Manager and Compliance Coordinator for CCA-Davis Correctional Facility and CCA-Cimarron Correctional Facility.
From 1999-2002 Lee was a Correctional Officer, and Correctional Counselor at JLCC. He also served from 2002-2005 as Youth Pastor at Tecumseh Assembly of God and from 2005-2016 as case manager JLCC. Lee was the PREA Compliance Manager from 2014-2015, and in 2016 he was the Warden’s Assistant at JLCC.
Lee received his Bachelor of Arts from East Central University in 1994, and he is also an Ordained Assemblies of God minister. He has been married to his wife Stephanie for 22 years and they have a 15-year-old daughter, Anna.
Lee said he is glad to be at the Jim E. Hamilton Correctional Center and is looking forward to working with staff and the community.
