A 58-year-old Talihina man died in an auto accident on Tuesday at approximately 10:58 a.m. three miles west of Stuart on U.S. Highway 270.
David Curley was driving a 2015 Ford F-150 truck and was pronounced dead at the scene by Hughes County Paramedic.
His truck hydroplaned, departed the road to the left, struck a truck and rolled over on to the roof. He was pinned for approximately two hours before being extricated by the Stuart Fire Department.
The accident report cited the driver was going too fast for the conditions. Seat belts were not in use.
Fatality collision occurred 02/14/2017 at approximately 1058 hours on US270 approximately 3 miles west of Stuart in Hughes County.
