LeFLORE—Buffalo Valley’s Garrett Pinley hit a two-run homer in the top of the sixth inning to give the Buffaloes a 3-2 win over LeFlore on Monday.
LeFlore held a 2-1 lead before Pinley’s home run. The loss spoiled an excellent pitching performance by the Savages’ Jett Carver, who went 6.0 innings, striking out 14, allowing only three hits and giving up two runs.
Dawson Warren pitched the final inning for LeFlore, striking out two and not allowing a hit.
Carver also went 2-4 batting with a double and a run scored. Blake Crase went 1-4 with a RBI and Luke Jackson doubled and was 1-3.
LeFlore is at Porum on Tuesday.
