WISTER—Howe, Poteau and Wister all split their games in a three-way here on Tuesday in slow-pitch softball.
In the opener, Howe downed Wister 16-6. Poteau then defeated Howe, 8-2, while Wister defeated the Lady Pirates in the nightcap, 10-4.
For Howe against Wister, Angela Price was 3-5 with two doubles, three runs and a RBI while Sydnie Womack went 3-5 with a double and six RBI, Abby Davidson had a 3-3 game with three runs and a RBI, Taya Kelllogg was 3-4 with two runs and Jalei Oglesby was 2-4 with three RBI and two runs.
Kati Patterson and Stevee McMillin were both 3-4 for Wister.
Poteau then defeated the Lady Lions, 8-2. Womack was 2-3 with a double for Howe and a run while Kellogg went 2-3 and Price was 2-4.
Wister closed out the day with a 10-4 win over the Lady Pirates. Ally Davis and Cailey Yochum both went 3-3 for the Lady Wildcats while Kimberlin Carpenter was 2-3, Hunter Gibson and Stevee McMillin were both 2-2.
Howe (1-1) hosts Whitesboro on Thursday. Wister (4-3) plays Caney at the Red Oak Tournament on Thursday while Poteau (1-2) plays Cameron in the Red Oak Tournament on Thursday.
