HEARTFELT THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE AND KINDNESS
First and foremost, we want to thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for giving us Behr, even for the short time of 10 years, because of the love and joy that he not only brought to our family but to all of those whose lives crossed his path. We have already experienced the mighty work of God’s hand through a young child accepting Christ as his Savior during the funeral service for Behr.
The entire family of Behr Place wants to thank those of EOMC for the excellent, professional, and caring way in which they did everything that they could to help Behr recover from his ATV accident. We could not have asked or expected more because they gave it their all. We are all so fortunate to have this hospital in our community. To the helicopter pilot and crew, thank you for your kind heart and safe transportation to Tulsa. Also, to the staff at Saint Frances Hospital, thank you for efforts and comfort during Behr’s last hours. You all made the path more bearable.
To Pastor Keith Williams, who was at EOMC and St. Frances from beginning to the end, and to family and friends, we do not have the words to express how much that meant to us all.
To Covenant Church, Cross Community Church, and Springhill Church, what a beautiful, wonderful, loving, and caring manner in which all of you gave of yourselves to our family at our time of need. Covenant Church, for being our church family through all of your love, support and prayers that you provided for our family, for providing the lunch for our family and during the funeral service. We felt so loved and cared for with all that you all did for us. Cross Community Church holding a prayer service and Springhill Church brought their “Chuck Wagon” filled with everything we needed to provide for our family’s nutrition needs. All were working together, by putting aside denominations, and unifying as the body to assist those in need. What a beautiful example of how “The Body of Christ” should and did LOVE and Care for us.
To all of those in the communities of Poteau, Wister and Red Oak, we thank you all so much for all of the visits, calls, texts, cards, flowers, food, and donations.
To my family co-workers of Advantage Home Health and Hospice, talk about step up and take charge, you ALL did a fantastic job for our patients and my family. Thank you for being the people that you are. Love you all.
Thank you to Grace Manor Funeral Home, our family, Jeff Walker, for the way that you took such care, compassion, and truly heartfelt love for Behr. The service was beautiful and was so much like Behr. It eased and lightened the tragedy of losing Behr by helping us all to celebrate his life. It encouraged both young and old to join in this celebration.
Last, but by no means the last, we do not have the words to indicates how much each and every prayer has meant to us. We, like most others, are still in a fog. Asking why? It is not for the imperfect to question the perfect. We must believe and trust that HE did and will use Behr’s life and passing to glorify HIM and grow HIS kingdom. We still need your prayers to assist us through this difficult time.
