RED OAK—Red Oak got a grand slam and another home run to defeat Wister, 11-3, in baseball on Tuesday.
The Eagles (10-3) are ranked second in Class B. Wister, No. 9 in 2A, drops to 5-3 and hosts Hartshorne on Friday.
The Wildcats were held scoreless through the first three innings before scoring a run in the fourth and two more in the fifth.
Ethan Billings was 1-3 with two RBI for the Wildcats and Seth Hill went 1-2 with a RBI.
Kolton Lynn was tagged with the loss for Wister, going 3.1 innings and allowing five hits while striking out three.
