OKAY—Spiro won both its games at the Okay Tournament on Thursday.
The Bulldogs opened with a 16-3 win over Porter before downing Moss, ranked #6 in Class B, 10-9.
Spiro benefitted from 13 walks in the win over Porter. The two teams were tied at 3 after the opening inning before the Bulldogs scored 13 runs in the second inning.
Drew Dixon got the win for Spiro, going all three innings, striking out five and giving up five hits.
Brevon Harper was 2-3 with a double and three RBI while Dylan Ridenour also doubled, going 1-1 with four RBI and two runs.
In the late game, Spiro built a 10-4 lead before Moss scored five runs in the top of the sixth inning.
Harper went the distance for the Bulldogs, striking out nine and giving up 15 hits.
Harper helped himself out at the plate by slamming a home run and was 3-4 with three RBI and a run.
Ridenour doubled while going 3-4 with two RBI and a run while Bradlee Chronister doubled and was 2-3 with five RBI and a run scored and Daniel Howery had a 2-3 game with two runs and a RBI.
The Bulldogs host Heavener on Friday before finishing up play at the Okay Tournament on Saturday.
