OKTAHA—Wister took an early lead on top-ranked Oktaha before the Tigers rallied for an 11-3 win in the Oktaha Tournament on Saturday.
The Wildcats took a 2-0 lead in the first inning before Oktaha came back to tie the score in the bottom of the third. The Tigers then scored five runs in the fifth and four more in the sixth to end the game.
Oktaha improves to 13-0 while ninth-ranked Wister falls to 4-2.
Koby Midgley was 2-3 and Cash Balentine went 1-3 with a double and a run scored. Balentine pitched the first five innings, giving up five hits and seven runs with two strikeouts before being relieved by Grant Shipman.
Wister visits Tushka on Monday.
