BOKOSHE—Bokoshe sophomores Kimie Lockhart and Jakki Davis have been accepted in the highly competitive EAST (Environmental and Spatial Technology) program at Kiamichi Technology Center in Poteau.
The EAST program is project-based and focuses on student-driven service projects accomplished by using teamwork and cutting-edge technology–state-of-the-art workstations, servers, software and accessories, including GPS/GIS mapping tools, architectural and CAD design software, 3D animation suites, virtual reality development and more.
The EAST program at KTC has limited enrollment and Lockhart and Davis were selected from a group of over 60 applicants for the program.
Other students accepted into KTC programs for the fall semester are: Jenson Cooper, Automotive Tech; Sage Johnson, Criminal Justice; Keaton Bray, HVAC; and Hayden Stroud, Welding.
