Municipal elections were held in LeFlore County on Tuesday.
In Heavener, Gail Nichols was re-elected to the Heavener City Council in the municipal election on Tuesday.
In light voting, Nichols received 22 votes compared to 17 for Nichols. The seat is for Ward 3.
Bokoshe had two seats on the board of trustees and treasurer on the ballot. In the first seat, Gerald Conway Jr. received 42 votes while Dean Collins had 40, Eugene Cobb got 30 and Marion Kates totaled 23 votes.
The other seat was for an unexpired term and Paula Jones won easily with 34 votes compared to 16 for Bob Copeland.
Sonya Crase was elected treasurer, receiving 38 votes to 12 for Denise Davis.
Howe voters tallied 34 votes in favor of a proposition to 33 against to pass it.
Two other elections were held. For the board of trustees Michael L. Brumfield got 46 votes, Amanda Paul received 29, Jonathan Jon Earp had 25 and Terry Melton 22.
For an unexpired seat, Holly Ann Gerdes received 25 votes to 33 for Keith Gammel.
In the vote for Panama board of trustees, Ronnie Bell received the most votes with 143. Tim Crase totaled 125, Bobby Duke Whiteaker finished with 70, Larry E. Didway had 55 and Stewart Seamans received 14 votes.
For the board of trustees in Talihina, Gary Johnson was the front runner with 31 votes, Exxes Webb and Darryl England both received 27 votes and Roger Simmons got 15 votes.
