POTEAU—The 2017 slow-pitch softball LeFlore County Tournament is scheduled to get started Monday at the PARC.
Heavener is the host for this year’s tournament. Heavener is also the top seed with Howe seeded second, Wister third and Poteau fourth.
Four games are scheduled at 5:30 p.m. to get the tourney started. Bokoshe plays LeFlore with the winner taking on Heavener at 6:45 p.m.
Panama plays Talihina at 5:30 p.m. with the winner going up against Poteau at 6:45 p.m.
Pocola battles Arkoma at 5:30 p.m. with the winner advancing to face Wister at 6:45 p.m.
Cameron and Whitesboro tangle in the final 5:30 p.m. contest with the winner going up against Howe at 6:45 p.m.
Spiro is the only LeFlore County high school that did not field a team this year.
Play continues Tuesday with the tournament scheduled to finish on Thursday.
