Vongnarath is the CASC food service director, and Collins is a service cook for the CASC food services. The entire CASC chili team also won the Peoples’ Choice award at the event.
Vongnarath, Collins, and the food service staff of CASC prepare meals at the CASC cafeteria located in the Costner Balentine Student Center at CASC.
They are also available for catering special events on campus.
“We are so proud of the food service staff,” said CASC food service operations manager Jean Ann Barlow. “They are incredible employees, and we appreciate their dedication to the College. In addition to feeding CASC students, the CASC cafeteria is open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
“Thomas and J.S. were really excited to enter the chili cook-off, and pleased to bring the first place trophy back to the college.”
