Kiamichi Technology Centers (KTC) received the Gold Star Award at the 50th Annual Oklahoma Career and Technology Education Summer Conference held this year at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
This award is designed to recognize technology center districts that have met rigid and demanding criteria demonstrating a high level of excellence. This award provides recognition to districts with exemplary programs designed to meet a broad spectrum of community needs.

It is the largest technology center district in Oklahoma, encompassing more than 11,200 square miles, serving 10 full counties, parts of three other counties, and 90 school districts within those counties. Last year, Kiamichi Technology Centers served nearly 22,000 students.
