POTEAU–The Carl Albert State College Student Government Association (SGA) swearing-in ceremony was held on Monday.
In attendance were CASC President Jay Falkner, the incoming SGA officers, CASC administrators, and SGA sponsor Shara Olive. Also in attendance was special guest CASC regent Belva Barber.
Falkner introduced and thanked Barber for attending and assisting with the swearing-in ceremony.
Prior to swearing in the officers, Barber shared the importance of student government, the value of leadership, and the significance of involvement on campus, in the community, and in the nation.
This year’s SGA slate of executive officers includes Lake Cagle – President, Bailey Walker – Vice President, and Mallory Clay – Secretary. In addition, a number of other CASC students serving as first and second year SGA senators took the oath of office.
