SPIRO—Howe’s Jalei Oglesby was the girls’ most valuable player for leading the Lady Lions to the 2018 basketball LeFlore County Tournament championship on Saturday night.
She was joined on the all-tournament team by Cassidi Means of Spiro; Makenzie Wilson of Heavener; Ashten Bailey of Whitesboro; Melina Ludlow of Talihina; Kenzie Newman of Poteau; Morgan Francis of Pocola; Shakyrah Gladness of Pocola; Summer Perkins of Pocola; Kennedi Cooper of Howe; and Justyn Lynn of Howe.
Kim Swindle of Bokoshe was awarded the Dennis Hemphill award while the sportsmanship team award went to Howe.
