Wister: February 23. Elevation is 1 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 52°F and stained. (USACE Current Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on jigs, plastic baits, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, creek channels, and main lake. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait, hot dogs, and shad around main lake and river channel. Crappie good on jigs and minnows around brush structure, main lake, river channel, and tailwater. FAYETTEVILLE – Down 15 with 5:54 to play, Arkansas made seven straight baskets late to trim and trailed by one (83-82) with five seconds to play after a Khalif Battle. After a foul on the ensuing inbounds, Vanderbilt’s Ezra Manjon made two free throws with 3.5 seconds left to put the Commodores up three, 85-82. PANAMA–Panama swept a pair of high school games from Gore Saturday night.
The Lady Backs opened with a dominating, 64-23 win before Panama completed the sweep as the Razorbacks edged Gore, 62-56. Panama hosts LeFlore Friday
Girls
Panama jumped ahead 47-13 at the half and breezed to the blowout win over the Lady Pirates.
The Lady Backs improve to 12-7 while Gore is 4-15. Panama was led by Kylee Gollihare’s 16 points.
