Poteau man injured

Larry Howard, 44, of Poteau, is in fair condition in Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith after being struck by a tractor-trailer rig on I-40. The accident occurred just west of Sallisaw on Monday. A Keota man was driving the tractor-trailer and struck Howard with his tire.
