Several games kick off the 2024 football season Friday night at Zero week gets the season started early.
The biggest game features Poteau traveling across the state line to play Arkansas power Booneville in a game which could last an hour as both teams prefer playing power football.
In other games, Pocola steps up a class when the Indians host Antlers, Talihina goes to Summit Christian and Arkoma visits Bluejacket.
All the other schools open next week.
