Defending tournament champions and top-seeded Pocola’s boys and girls will go for two more championships as the 2025 basketball LeFlore County Tournament starts Monday.
The LCT is the longest running high school tournament in Oklahoma, played every year since 1932, aside from 1938 when flooding canceled the tournament.
The top three seeds for the girls and boys get byes Monday before opening play Tuesday.
For the girls, Pocola is seeded 1, Howe is second, Whitesboro is third and Panama fourth.
The boys’ brackets has Pocola as the top seed, Panama is second, Heavener third and Talihina fourth.
Games are played at host Spiro, along with Heavener and Cameron Monday. Semifinals and finals are again at Spiro Thursday through Saturday.
