Three Coleman residents die
Three Coleman residents died in a two-car accident from injuries suffered in an accident Christmas night on Highway 270, 1.4 miles east of Boswell in Choctaw County at 8:50 p.m.
Three others injured
Three others were hospitalized following the accident. The accident and condition of the drivers is under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
First vehicle
Fernando Rodriguez-Ramirex, 24, from Johnson City, Texas was driving a 2007 Ford truck. He was transported to Texoma Madical Center in Sherman, Texas and is in critical condition with trunk and leg injuries.
Humberto Rodriguez-Ramires, 32, a passenger in the truck was transported by Air Evac to Plano Medical Center where he is also in critical condition with back, trunk and leg injuries.
Second vehicle
The second vehicle in the accident was a 2020 Toyota Camry, driving by Max Sides Sr., 63, of Coleman, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two of the three passengers in the vehicle were also pronounced deceased at the scene.
Vicki Sides, 55, of Coleman and Max Sides Jr., both of Coleman died in the accident. A third passenger, Kristina Mannor, 31, of Leesville, Louisiana, was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where she was admitted in critical condition with head, trunk and leg injuries.
Investigators
The accident was investigated by Trooper Darrell Wofford, assisted by Trooper Josh Christian, Trooper Preston Moreland, the Boswell fire department, Hugo Fire Department, Choctaw County EMS, Choctaw County Sheriff’s Department, the Choctaw Nation Tribal Police Department, Lamar County Sheriff’s office, AirEvac and MARC.
