Ag trade show coming April 15
POTEAU–The 16th Annual Eastern Oklahoma Ag Trade Show will be held April 15 at the LeFlore County Fairgrounds west of Poteau just off Highway 271.
Speakers will be on hand to discuss a variety of agricultural topics. The doors open at 8:30 a.m. for visiting the exhibitor booths. The morning speaker sessions will begin at 9 a.m. Topics for the sessions include: poultry litter transfer program, weed consideration following nutrient application, Oklahoma rules and regulations update, symbiotic aquaponics demonstration, glimpse into the Oklahoma beef market and a bee keeping demonstration. Attendees can also obtain continuing education for poultry as well as pesticide applicators license.
There will be breaks throughout the morning to visit booths. The break at noon will be for a free lunch provided by the sponsors of the event and to allow more time for those attending to visit the exhibitor booths. The show should conclude by 3:30 p.m.
Over 20 exhibitors are expected to be on hand. Display booths will range from ag chemicals, farm equipment and supplies, metal and fencing supplies to feed and seed dealers, lending institutions, and government services. Pre-registration to attend the trade show is not necessary. Everyone is welcome to attend.
