Agenda for Heavener city meeting 2-6-2025

The Heavener City Council will meet in a regular business meeting 6 p.m. Thursday at Heavener’s City Hall at 103 East Avenue B, followed by a special meeting of the Heavener Utilities Authority.

1. New Business / Public Comments (the public will be recognized by the Mayor from a sign-in sheet, where each citizen wishing to address the city commission, shall sign their name and the request or purpose for being recognized). 

2. Approval of minutes from the previous meeting.

3. Approval of purchase orders presented for payment.

4. Consider, discuss, and take action to nominate 1 new member for the Heavener Utility Board of Trustees.

5. Consider, discuss, and take action to give new City Manager, Chelsea Sweet, full access to the First National Bank accounts for online access and any other permissions that she may request for bank accounts.

6. Consider, discuss and take action to hire Aaron Grubb with Wirth Law Offices as the new City attorney.

7. City Commission votes to enter into executive session (requires majority vote of quorum of the members present to enter).

         A.promotion of Street, Alley & Drainage part time employee Dallas Snow, to full time at hourly rate of $16.00 per hour.
