The Howe School Board will meet in a regular business meeting 6 p.m. Monday at the Howe Administration Building at 21444 East North Railroad Street in Howe.
Agenda:
- Opening flag salute.
- Invocation.
- Call meeting to order and record members present.
- Approve or disapprove agenda items for the regular board meeting March 6, 2023.
- Approve or disapprove minutes for the regular board meeting Jan. 10 and Feb. 14.
- Approve or disapprove the 2020-2021 school year audit as presented by auditor Ralph Osborn Jr.
- Approve or disapprove resignations and employment recommendations as presented by the superintendent.
- Discussion/action on school facilities and projected needs.
- Approve or disapprove encumbrances.
- Approve or disapprove superintendent’s financial report.
11.. Superintendent’s report.
- Principals’ report on current status of their programs and scheduled events or activities.
- Approve or disapprove application agreement with ODVTE for secondary and full-time adult vocational technical education programs for the 2023-2024 school year.
- Approve or disapprove fund raisers for the 2022-2023 school year as presented by the superintendent.
- Approve or disapprove OSSBA policy updated.
- Proposed executive session for the purpose of evaluating the superintendent for the 2022-2023 school year. 25 Oklahoma Statute Section 307 (B) (1).
- Vote to convene in executive session.
- Acknowledge boards return to open session.
- Executive session minutes compliance announcement.
- Discussion/action on the employment of the superintendent for the 2023-2024 through 2025-2026 school years.
- New business.
- Board member comments.
- Vote to adjourn.
