City Council

Agenda:

 

  1. Approval of minutes from previous meeting.
  1. Approval of purchase orders presented for payment.
  1. Open bids for the sale of the old police department building.
  1. Consider, discuss, and take action to approve invoice for BridgePoint Electric for LED light conversion at all City facilities. This project is estimated to save the City $3,931 annually in electric costs. The project cost $38,460.00 minus electric rebate of $5,220.00, equaling a net cost of $33,240.00. Funding for this project will be derived from the Choctaw Community Partnership Fund proceeds in the General Fund Savings account.
  1. Consider, discuss, and take action to approve pay rate increase for the fire department. This increase of $1.00 an hour for the first hour, raises firemen from $9.00 for the first hour to $10.00. The second and subsequent hours are paid at $7.50 per hour with no change being requested. This change will begin at the start of the next quarter, April 1, 2023.
  1. Consider, discuss, and take action to approve invoices for Johnny Holmes, for $11,000.00 for the chip and seal job on Pickle Lane, 46,380.00 for West 2nd, and 20,000.00 for part of Old Pike.
  1. Consider and take action on code violations for ZCB Investments LLC, for property located at 109 West 4th Street, for accumulation of rank weeds and grass and trash.
  1. Consider and take action on code violations for Keith and Kathy Edwards, for property located at 402 West Avenue. D, for accumulation of rank weeds and grass and trash.
  1. New Business / Public Comments (the public will be recognized by the Mayor from a sign-in sheet, where each citizen wishing to address the city commission, shall sign their name and the request or purpose for being recognized).
