Heavener‘s Jaxon Armstrong signed with Southeastern to play football with the Savage Storm Monday afternoon. He is pictured on the front row to his left with sister, Briella, and on his right, brother, Alex, and mother, Amber.
On the back row are Assistant Coach Nathan Janway, Assistant Coach Matt Adams, his father, Jack, also a Heavener assistant, Athletic Director Brian Terry, and Head Coach Jeff Broyles. He is the second senior to sign with Southeastern in the past week as Fernando Villanuevo signed Thursday.
Armstrong was Heavener’s leading receiver the last two years and as a junior helped the Wolves reach the playoffs for the first time since 2011. In addition to wide receiver, he also played the Wildcat position and started at defensive back.
