The Heavener Utilities Authority approved a new contract with Vanhook Sanitation to haul off the city’s garbage and discussed the condition of downtown later on in the Council meeting Thursday evening.
Present for the HUA meeting were Mayor Max Roberts, Council members Melinda Ballantine, Joey Clubb and Jim Roll along with HUA members Billy Adrean, Jim Carr, Jason Tiffee and David Tamplin.
