Brecheen votes against Ukraine aid
WASHINGTON, D.C., D.C. – Congressman Josh Brecheen issued the following statement after voting against H.R. 8035 – The Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024.
“It is irresponsible to send another $60 billion (on top of the $113 billion we have already sent) to fund the war in Ukraine, when our own border remains wide open and our national debt is nearing $35 trillion,” said Brecheen.
Before the vote, Brecheen appeared on Fox News to discuss his opposition to sending more of our tax dollars to Ukraine without securing our own border.
