Commissioners table backhoe bids

In a brief business meeting Monday, LeFlore County commissioners tabled two bids offering to buy a 2011 Caterpillar backhoe from District 2. The bids will be compared and reconsidered next week.
Robinson Construction bid $10,555 and Extreme work and play offered $28,000.
Commissioners changed the OSU Extension receiving officer from Ladonna Walls to Lisa J. McCray.
Maximum highway expenditures for May and the Treasurer’s monthly report for officers also were approved.
Meeting as the Budget Board, county officers approved a $2,516 transfer to the Sheriff’s Office as fuel reimbursement for the advocacy investigator.
