By DAVID SEELEY The Poteau Daily News Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center had its monthly governing board meeting Tuesday afternoon.
A fatality collision occurred Wednesday at approximately 9:30 a.m. on United States Highway 259 approximately 6.7 miles east and 3.4 miles south of Muse in LeFlore County.
The Heavener Utilities Authority and City Council will meet in regular business meetings 6 p.m. Thursday in Heavener’s City Hall at 103 East Avenue B in Heavener.
The deadline to request absentee ballots by mail is approaching. Applications must be received by the County Election Board no later than 5 p.m. Monday.
