City sells old police station

The old police station in downtown Heavener will soon be another memory of a downtown from another era.

Present were Mayor Max Roberts along with Council members Melinda Ballantine, Joey Clubb, Marvin Meredith and Jim Roll.

After months of discussion and negotiations, Jennifer Yandell won the auction to purchase the property for $1,000.
