Commissioners approve payment

LeFlore County commissioners approved a close-out payment of $35,170 to Robinson Construction for work on the Conser Road project on Monday.

Also Monday, the county Budget Board approved appropriation of the monthly sales tax collections. Of the total of $642,988, Solid Waste, the Jail Bond and the Hospital Authority each received $183,711 from the county sales tax and the jail fund received $91,855 from the state sales tax.

The Budget Board also approved transfers of $120,000 from one jail account to another and $165 from one District Attorney account to another.

Commissioners approved purchase orders and payroll for the month totaling $228,734. The county had previously encumbered $257,443 for the month, leaving an adjustment of $28,709.

Commissioners approved two transfers of appropriations — $5,000 from the DA’s capital outlay account to a travel account and $5,200 from the Latham Fire Department’s lease-purchase account to maintenance and operations.

Also approved was the annual five-year exempt manufacturing statement of amount to reimburse the county for loss of revenue stated by the county assessor. Those amounts were $38,559 for OK Foods and $56,913 for OldCastle Infrastructure.

The board approved transfer of a 5,000-gallon tank from Summerfield Fire Department to Highway District 2 for use as a water truck.
